NY Trips

The JAM New York Trip is an exciting 8 day excursion that brings 25 college students together to tour the city and learn about Judaism.

Students live in the heart of the city in the beautiful Carlton Hotel on Madison Avenue. Participants visit the sites of New York and Washington. Included in their itinerary is a visit to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Diamond district, a Broadway show, the New York Stock Exchange, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and a visit to the Holocaust Memorial in Washington. The students also meet prominent Jews in finance, politics, and law. In addition they bake challah, participate in a traditional Jewish wedding and spend Shabbat in a Jewish community.
Judaic classes in the morning and the experience of dynamic Jewish living combine to create an experience of a lifetime- one that inspires a deep sense of Jewish identity and excitement in the students.
