THE JAM CENTER
is an 8,000 square foot center at the hub of the UCLA dorms and University buildings. Built with the generosity of the Los Angeles Jewish community, the center serves hundreds of Jewish students. Hopping weekly with Challah baking, learning and social programs, host to the Jewish sorority, and Friday night dinners, the building boasts a huge flat screen TV, a pool table, a Judaica library, Internet and free food. Two JAM couples live on the bottom 2 floors of the building hosting students and serving as a home away from home for dozens. The 2500 square multi purpose room, will serve as a Synagogue, place for kosher food, and a general hang out for students.
